Northampton County District Attorney Stephen Baratta has announced the arrest of Kenneth Tirado-Roman of Bethlehem July 15.
Baratta said a package containing 2 kilograms (more than 4 pounds) of cocaine was intercepted by police who used it in a sting in the city. On July 14, police, in conjunction with other agencies, delivered the package to the front porch of 1218 Carlisle St. and observed as Tirado-Roman came and took possession of the package and returned to his vehicle. He was then arrested. The cocaine had a processed street value of about $160,000.
Tirado-Roman is charged with possession with intent to deliver, and his bail was set at $150,000.
