Musikfest 2025 is ready to rock and roll. There is so much to do to help ArtsQuest make this festival a reality: information booths, selling soda, clean team, selling beer, working with the staging crew and lots more. Volunteer to assist residents in getting to in-house clinic appointments at Gracedale Nursing Home, Nazareth, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. This may involve pushing residents in wheelchairs, Broda chairs or simply walking alongside a resident and engaging in conversation while making sure they arrive to the clinic area safely. As a Lehigh County Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) volunteer, you will advocate and be a voice for vulnerable children in court and ensure they find safe, nurturing homes. The Roasting Ears of Corn Festival is celebrating 45 years. Museum of Indian Culture in Allentown is excited to host Pennsylvania’s oldest Native American festival Aug. 16-17. Many hands are needed for this important fundraiser, beginning with various set-up chores starting Aug. 2 and culminating with various festival positions Aug. 16 and 17. Drivers are needed to take elderly/and or disabled people to doctor appointments and grocery shopping. Members receiving services can enter and exit a vehicle independently. The Salvation Army, Allentown, is currently seeking enthusiastic volunteers to help support our Stuff the Bus campaign by handing out flyers at Walmart in Allentown and Whitehall Aug. 2 and 9 and encouraging customers to purchase school supplies for local students in need. A Primary Care Community (PCC) is a group of about five volunteer families who come alongside one specific family to help meet physical, financial, spiritual and emotional needs. The Salvation Army Foster Care & Adoption Services needs volunteers to commit to serving from 6 months up to 24 months with their specific family. Wilson Area LINCS Family Center is excited to host a Touch a Truck and Community Resource Fair featuring a backpack and school supplies give away 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Aug. 10, at Wilson Area High School, Easton. Volunteers will also distribute water to vendors and volunteers, hand out tickets at the gate, register people for door prizes, assist with set up and breakdown, etc. Minimum age to volunteer is 14 with adult.
