The Macungie Police Department will host National Night Out 5-9 p.m. in Macungie Memorial Park, 50 Poplar St.
The Salisbury Township Police Department will host National Night Out 5-8 p.m. at Salisbury Middle School, 3301 Devonshire Road.

St. Peter’s Union Church, 7863 St. Peters Road, Macungie, will host a yard sale 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Call the church office to reserve a space, 610-966-3030. There is a fee to reserve a space. The rain date is Aug. 23.

Vera Cruz Homecoming noon to 8 p.m. in Mystic Chain Park, 3718 Main Road East. A cakewalk is scheduled 3:15 p.m. Entertainment will include music performances by The Rehrig Brothers and TimeWhys band.
Tookany Creek Bluegrass Band will perform in Emmaus Community Park, Shimerville Road, as part of the Concerts in the Park series 6-8 p.m. Admission is free.
