Focused on the theme of a “road trip” that put attendees “on the go with God,” Vacation Bible School at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 501 Chestnut St., Emmaus, included a weeklong curriculum designed to promote friendship, laughter and fun through religious instruction July 13-17.
Organized by age into groups labeled “Adventurers,” “Trailblazers” and “Navigators,” the children participated in a brief introduction and then began each evening’s journey.
Thanks to numerous volunteers and dedicated staff members, participants enjoyed hands-on activities in the areas of music, science, recreation, crafts and storytelling. To complete the trip, the entire group reunited in the church’s Parish Hall to wrap up the evening.
