A 42-year-old male, of Allentown, was taken into custody for allegedly driving under the influence after a traffic stop in the 400 block of Stoneridge Road, Salisbury Township, 12:05 a.m. May 26, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

A 29-year-old female, of Massachusetts, was taken into custody for allegedly driving under the influence after a traffic stop along Interstate 78 West, Salisbury Township, 1:32 a.m. June 5, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

Crash

A motorist was slightly hurt June 2 when his vehicle hit a deer while traveling along Interstate 78 East in Salisbury Township, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The motorist was eastbound in the area of mile marker 55.6 at approximately 9:40 p.m. when multiple deer ran into the roadway at once, according to authorities. The motorist was unable to stop in time and struck one of the deer. The driver was transported to the hospital for treatment. Yocum Towing also responded.
