Ellen Lalonde Goetz, 86, formerly of Whitehall and Ridge, Long Island, N.Y., died June 16, 2025, at The Vero at Bethlehem. She was the wife of the late Erwin F. ”Frank” Goetz. Born in Jamaica, Queens County, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late Guy J. and Catherine M. (Guilmette) Lalonde.

A graduate of the former Flushing School of Nursing in 1959, she was a registered nurse working in Queens, Flushing and College Point, N.Y. as well as in Lakewood, N.J. for 28 years before retiring in 1998. She was of the Catholic faith.

She is survived by children, John S. (Allison), of Belle Harbor, N.Y., Thomas A. (Karen), of East Meadows, Long Island, N.Y., Ellen C. Reichling (Kenneth), of Orefield; grandchildren, Elisabeth (Robert), Emily, Abigail, Andrew, Maria; sisters, Rita C. Schreiber (John) of Long Island, N.Y., Joan Cerra, of New Jersey. She was predeceased by a brother, John G. Lalonde; brother-in-law, Richard Cerra.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:30 a.m. June 20, at St. Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church, 1879 Applewood Drive, Orefield. The Rev. (Fr.) Nikolai R. Brelinsky will be the celebrant. Family and friends may pay their respects 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. June 19 at the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., 4906 Route 309, Schnecksville.
