Senior students from Liberty and Freedom high schools planning to serve in our country’s military were given salutations as they gathered at Liberty the afternoon of May 21. This was the eighth annual Salute to Service Members Celebration.

Graduating from Freedom is John Jabbour who will be entering the Marine Corps, Vidal Mercado III – Marine Corps, Faisal Aswani – Pennsylvania Army National Guard, Valerie Vasquez Pacheco – Pennsylvania Army National Guard, Kacey Santiago – Pennsylvania Army National Guard, Ryan Famawa – Pennsylvania Army National Guard.

Graduating from Liberty is Christopher M. Compton Jr. who will be entering the Pennsylvania Army National Guard, Ava M. George-United States Coast Guard Academy, Felix V. Morales-Marine Corps, Jarrett C. Norton – Army Reserves, Bruce Nunez- Marine Corps, Jayson A. Ogando -Pennsylvania Army National Guard.

Families, school staff, recruiters and friends were present to support and honor these students.
