New for North Whitehall Township is the Summer Concert Series featuring community concerts. These events are free admission and open to all ages. The next concert is 6-9 p.m. June 27 featuring The Benny Band at the Schnecksville Fire Company, 4550 Old Packhouse Road, Schnecksville.
The North Whitehall Planning Commission will meet 7 p.m. June 24 at Lehigh Carbon Community College, Lisa Jane Scheller Community Services Center, Building 7, Parking Lot F, 4525 Education Park Drive, Schnecksville.
The Glenn Hofmann Trio, Dolcetto, will present a concert at St. John’s United Church of Christ, 1415 Rising Sun Road, Laurys Station 7 p.m. June 28.
Doors open 6:30 p.m.; there is a charge for tickets. Call the church at 610-262-8061 for more information or tickets.
St. John’s UCC welcomes children of the community to Vacation Bible School 6-8 p.m. July 7-11.
The “Happy Campers” VBS program is open to anyone 4 years old and up to and including those entering seventh grade. There is no registration fee.
To prepare for the classes and materials, planners request registration before the start of the program. Call 610-262-8061 to sign up.
Union United Church of Christ, Neffs, will have its first outdoor worship of the season in the grove 10:30 a.m. June 28.
Following the service, everyone is invited to build their own sundae with ice cream and a variety of toppings. Hot dogs and snacks will also be available.
Union Lutheran Church, Schnecksville, will feature “lesser known” women of the Bible during summer worship times 9 a.m.
