Daniel Kish, 65, died June 6, 2025, after a battle with ALS. Born in Geneva, New York, he was a son of the late Daniel and Lea (Cibello) Kish. He was the husband of Patti (Story) Kish for 37 years.
He studied finance and played football at Susquehanna University, Selinsgrove.
He was a member of the undefeated 1976 Wilkes-Barre GAR Football State Championship team.
He worked in finance and engineering with Raytheon, Bethlehem Steel, Alstom Power, Foster Wheeler and Babcock Power.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Alexandra and her husband Andrew of Pottstown; a son, Danny and his wife Dominique of Baltimore, Maryland; five siblings, Mary Majikes Kish, Thomas Kish and his wife Renee, Lea Ann Kish, Paul Kish and his wife Sandra and Stephen Kish, all of Wilkes-Barre; in-laws; nieces; and nephews.
