The Schnecksville Fire Company was abuzz with philatelic excitement 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. May 31, as it hosted the Eastern PA stamp show.
Collectors and dealers from across the region gathered for the semi-annual event, which featured a wide array of stamp-related treasures.
The show included 10-12 stamp dealers offering everything from rare stamps to first day covers and vintage postcards.
Attendees enjoyed free admission and parking, along with hourly door prize drawings valued at hundreds of dollars.
Food and refreshments were also available on-site, making for a comfortable experience in the fully air-conditioned banquet hall.
Members of the Allentown Philatelic Society were among the many collectors in attendance.
Bill Harris, president and Jeff Lynch, webmaster, both from Bethlehem, greeted attendees and browsed collections.
