PRESS PHOTO BY LOU WHEELANDEven though the sky looks frightening, 500 American Flags are placed in the Parkland High School practice field over the Memorial Day weekend. The Allentown West Rotary Club arranged for the Flags for Unity display. They were lit by portable lighting so they could be viewed both day and night throughout the holiday weekend, ending on Memorial Day. Each flag was representative of either an active duty service member, a veteran or a first responder.
