The Emmaus High School boys volleyball team capped the 2025 regular season last week and finished unbeaten in Eastern Pennsylvania Conference action.
The Hornets were taken to the brink and defeated Freedom in five sets by scores of 25-22, 25-19, 24-26, 12-25 and 15-11 last Monday, April 28. Two nights later Emmaus finished its season with a 3-1 victory at Parkland by scores of 25-17, 22-25, 25-17 and 25-16.
In the win over the Patriots, Lucas Mondin led the offense, finishing with a match-high 17 kills on a .250 hit percentage. He also added eight digs and three blocks.
Jackson Holden tallied eight kills and a team-high 12 digs. Jude Boyle and Colin Holden recorded seven kills with Boyle contributing 11 digs and Holden adding two blocks. Bilaal Kerim and Miles Boulrice had four kills. Ben Skekel contributed 11 digs and 48 assists, facilitating the attack.
In the victory against the Trojans, Mondin once again paced the offense with 15 kills, also adding three blocks and eight digs. Holden finished with 11 kills and a team-best 12 blocks. Sander Houtz notched eight kills and four digs. Christopher Mitchell totaled seven kills and Boulrice added six kills, seven digs and two blocks for the Hornets.
Emmaus, which finished the regular season 16-1 overall and 12-0 in the EPC, earned the number one seed in the conference tournament and will take on the fourth seed in the first round.
