The Emmaus High School boys lacrosse team concluded its 2025 regular season last week, splitting a pair of games.
The Hornets defeated Saucon Valley 14-5 last Tuesday, April 29, and then fell in the regular season to rival Parkland, 21-6 last Thursday night at Memorial Field.
In the win over the Panthers, Dylan Maloney led the attack with a game-high four goals and added two assists. Alex Younker recorded a hat trick and had an assist.
Kaleb Mains tallied two goals and one assist. Gabe Chies, Anthony Attar, Colin Garrett, Greyson Schmidt and James Schaeuer found the back of the net once each. Chies also contributed four assists and Jewlien Torres dished out an assist. Jack Sullivan finished with 13 saves in net and Garrett won 15 of 17 faceoffs.
Against the Trojans, Parkland raced out to a 9-2 lead after the opening quarter and never looked back, outscoring the Hornets 7-0 in the third quarter.
Mains scored all six goals for Emmaus, with Dylan Maloney picking up an assist. Sullivan made eight saves.
Emmaus finished the regular season 9-9 overall and 5-4 in the conference, one game shy of qualifying for the conference tournament. Easton and Central Catholic finished one-two in the standings. Parkland and Nazareth also made the playoffs as the Nos. 3 and 4 seeds.
The Hornets will now look towards the District 11 4A tournament.
