The Emmaus baseball team finished its regular season last week with a 5-1 loss to Parkland.
The Trojans scored a run in the bottom of the first, third before Emmaus made it 2-1 with a run in the fifth inning. Parkland got the run back in the bottom of the fifth and added two more in the sixth inning.
Cole George had the Hornets’ only hit in the game.
Emmaus ends the regular season at 11-9 overall and 8-8 in league play.
The Hornets will compete in the District 11 Class 6A playoffs next week. They are in sixth place in the district rankings and will face either Nazareth or Freedom in the first round of districts.
