The Emmaus boys tennis team saw its season come to an end last week in the semifinal round of the District 11 team tournament.
After a first-round win over Nazareth, Emmaus fell to No. 2 seed Parkland 4-1 in the semifinals.
In the 5-3 win over Nazareth, Emmaus got a win from Nick Stone at No. 2 singles and took both doubles matches. Caleb Brashear and Ayden Kegley won the first doubles match 6-4, 6-1. Cole Stuchko and Sia Uppiretia won 6-1, 6-4 in the second doubles match.
Against Parkland, the No. 3 seed Hornets’ only win came in the No.. 1 doubles match where Brashear and Kegley won 6-1, 6-4.
The Hornets finish the season at 15-4 overall. They went 11-3 in EPC matches.
Nick and Chris Stone will compete in the upcoming state doubles tournament after winning a district doubles title two weeks ago.
