Donald W. Rohrbach

formerly of Schnecksville

Donald W. Rohrbach, 99, of Lakeland, Fla., formerly of Blue Heron Lake, Pike County, and Schnecksville, died May 17, 2025, at his residence. He was the husband of Phyllis D. Turner and the late Bertha L. (Gosselin) Rohrbach. Born in Slatington, he was the son of the late Warren L. And Helen A. (Handwerk) Rohrbach.

He faithfully and honorably served his country in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was a graphic arts teacher at Upper Bucks Vocational Technical High School, Perkasie for 17 years before retiring in 1987. Before that, he worked as a mechanical superintendent for the former Toms River Courier for three years and as a printer for the former Bethlehem Globe Times for six years.

A man of faith, he was a dedicated member of Christ Lutheran Church, Lakeland, Fla., where he served and worshiped throughout his life. An avid golfer, he was also an active member of the Highlands Fairways Men’s Golf Club.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by daughters, Barbara J. Broomell and her husband, Andrew, of Ohio, Fay H. Manson, of New Jersey; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. June 2 at Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., 4906 Route 309, Schnecksville, with the Rev. Gordon A. Camp officiating.
