Alvin “Ivy” J. Schloffer, 90, of Northampton, died May 10, 2025, at Lehigh Valley Hospital- Muhlenberg. He was the husband of Pauline (Kroboth) Schloffer for 68 years.

Born in Northampton, he was a son of the late John and Katherine (Milkovits) Schloffer.

He served in the U.S. Army as a Sp4 tank driver with the 69th armored division at Fort Benning, Ga.

He was employed as a route salesman for Mary McIntosh and a truck driver for A&B Meats for many years.

He was a member of Queenship of Mary Catholic Church, Northampton.

He was a member of Tri-Boro Sportsmen Club.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Carol Reinhard and husband Thomas; two grandchildren, Brooke and Taylor; and two great grandchildren, Cameron and Quinn.

He was predeceased by a son, David; and a brother, John.
