As Memorial Day weekend approaches, dive into history with books, DVDs, Playaway audios, ebooks, and e-audios from the Libby and Hoopla apps—all available for free with your library card.

Looking for a gift for Mother’s Day or a graduate? Stop by the Friends of the Library bookshop for fantastic deals on books, puzzles and more.

You can also find the library out in the community at the Festival of the Arts 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. May 17 at Parkland High School.

Don’t miss the Summer Reading Club kickoff party 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. June 14.

Join us for kindness rock painting and enjoy food from Grateful Dogs and Uno Taqueria food trucks.

At noon, Blue Mountain Butterfly will present “The Wonder of Butterflies” and host a butterfly release.

Of course, there will also be sign-ups for the Summer Reading Club and free swag.

Kids, teens, and adults are all welcome to join.
