We are approaching the final stretch of the school year!

It’s May – parents of seniors – I feel you! Enjoy these last few weeks with your seniors and let them soak in all the events and activities.

The district-wide art show will be held 5-8 p.m. May 7 at Salisbury High School. Come out and see some of the incredibly talented pieces the students in our schools have created. They are amazing and we need to show our support for the arts programs.

All Salisbury schools will dismiss early May 9. SHS and Salisbury Middle School will dismiss 12:15 p.m., while Salisbury Elementary School will dismiss 1:15 p.m.

The next curriculum and technology meeting will be 7 p.m. May 14 at the administration building. This will be followed by the school board meeting.

The Salisbury Community Breakfast will be held 9-11 a.m. May 17 in the SHS cafeteria. Breakfast is free and includes pancakes, sausage, scrambled eggs, juice and coffee. You must preregister for this event by May 9. Reservations can be made online at salisburysd.org/breakfast or by calling 610-797-2062, ext. 1000.

The township recycling drop off sites are open. The Franko Farm site will open May 8 and 10 and the Devonshire site will be open May 12, 15 and 17. Drop off center hours will be 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mondays and Thursdays and 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays.
