On April 23, Emmaus High School Principal Beth Guarriello sent out an email to all students and staff, informing the EHS community former assistant principal Jordan Fortier would no longer work at EHS effective April 28. Fortier served as an assistant principal for grades 9 through 12 at EHS since 2018. Fortier left EHS to transition from his role as an assistant principal to a new position as a principal at a local behavioral school.
“We are grateful for his dedication and the positive impact he has had on our students, staff and community during his time at EHS. We wish him all the best in his future endeavors,” Guarriello wrote in her email.
Dean of Students Jacob Beitler has provisionally stepped into Fortier’s role within the student service office. Beitler is now responsible for supporting students with last names ranging from Fazio to LaPorte, who formerly relied on Fortier.
