The Emmaus boys tennis team improved to 13-1 overall and 10-1 in East Penn Conference play with recent wins over Whitehall, Pocono Mountain East and East Stroudsburg North.
Emmaus beat Whitehall 6-1 Friday. Chris Stone, Nick Stone and Caleb Brown won singles matches by 6-0, 6-0 scores, while the doubles teams of Aba Diop and Ayden Kegley, Cole Stuchko and Sai Uppiretia, and Quinn Durkin and Aarya Sevak all picked up wins against the Zephyrs.
Emmaus beat Pocono Mountain East 7-0 last Wednesday, April 2. Chris Stone, Nick Stone and Brown won singles matches against the Cardinals. Diop/Kegley, Stuchko/Uppiretia, and Durkin/Sevak won doubles matches for the Hornets.
The Hornets beat East Stroudsburg North 7-0 on Monday, March 31.
Nick Stone, Chris Stone and Brown won their singles matches by 8-0 scores, while Caleb Brashear and Kegley won the No. 2 doubles match and Stuchko/Uppiretia took the third doubles match. Durkin/Sevak and Diop/Noah Tintle won doubles matched by default.
