A pair of three-game losing streaks have dampened the start to the lacrosse season for Northwestern Lehigh.
The current streak has losses to perennially strong teams like Emmaus and Southern Lehigh and on Tuesday, Saucon Valley was able to down the Lady Tigers to push the streak to three games.
Southern Lehigh has won four straight District 11 championships and handed Northwestern an 18-3 loss recently. The Tigers returned to the field Tuesday against Saucon Valley and fell 13-6.
In the loss to the Panthers, Olivia Costa scored three times while Sydney Wright scored twice, and Cara Thomas added a goal and an assist. Thomas also won eight draws in the game.
Over the next week, Northwestern (2-6) hosts Allentown Central Catholic (4-5) and travels to play Scranton Prep.
