Barbara A. Fairfield, 76, of Washington Township, died April 19, 2025, at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg. She was the wife of the late Joseph J. Fairfield.

Born in Bath, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Cora (Buskirk) Grube.

She worked as a daytime cleaning specialist at The Swain School, Allentown, for the past 25 years.

She was a member of Christ United Church of Christ, Little Moore.

She is survived by two daughters, Jodi A. Cesanek of Whitehall and Sherry L. and husband Rickie Kostenbader Jr. of Danielsville; a son, Todd J. and wife Alice of Slatington; a brother, Howard Grube and wife Cindy of Danielsville; two sisters, Carolyn Grube of Bath and Elaine and husband Peter Bohun of Danielsville; and two grandchildren, Lauren and husband Gino Warnick and Cody Harrich.

She was predeceased by a son-in law, Michael Cesanek; three brothers, Roy “Jake” Grube, Charles Grube and Alan Grube; and two sisters, Eleanor Dries and Linda Zydyk.
