Eugene M. Larimer, 86, of Lehighton, formerly of Allentown, died peacefully April 3, 2025, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Lehighton.
He was the husband of the late Shirley L. (Walker) Larimer.
Born Aug. 2, 1938 in Falls Creek, Clearfield County, he was the son of the late Vincent and Mary Ruth (Wayland) Larimer.
A talented and creative machinist and tool and dye maker, he worked at Western Electric, Mack Trucks Inc., Yarema Bros. and Champion Spark Plug.
He retired from Crayola during the times of great industrial innovation.
His survivors include daughters Cheryle A. Garrison (Ted) of Lehighton, Lisa L. Lloyd (Richard) of North Carolina, and Kelly L. Larimer and companion, Danny M. Uff of Allentown; sister Caroline Etchberger (Woody) of West Lawn; grandchildren Beth, Mark and Colin; and great-grandchildren Roman, Dominic, Hendrix and Lucy.
