Arline E. Yoder

member of St. John’s UCC

Arline E. Yoder, 91, a nearly lifelong resident of the Village of Fullerton and member of St. John’s UCC, Fullerton, died peacefully March 27, 2025, surrounded by the comforting love of her family.

The eldest daughter of Arlington S. Kahn and the former Harriet R. Rowlands, both formerly of the Scranton region, she was born Nov. 30, 1933, and, along with her younger sister Ruth, now deceased, grew up during the Great Depression and World War II years.

After graduation from Whitehall High School, she interviewed for a job position with Lehigh Valley Credit Union and was hired immediately.

During this time, she met her future husband, Carl D. Yoder, of Allentown.

The couple was married Aug. 20, 1955, in Seibert Church, Allentown, and purchased a home in Fullerton in 1959, raising four extraordinary sons Daniel now deceased, Gordon of Kempton, Dale of Lebanon, and Samuel of Nazareth.

She was also adored by her sister’s three sons, Timothy, Randy and Clayton; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Services will be private, at the convenience of her family.
