Milot, Banks lead T&F to victory

The Emmaus High School track and field teams beat Bethlehem Catholic last week to remain undefeated through half of the 2024 season.

Michael Milot (100, 200) and Jasiyah Banks (long jump, triple jump) won two events each to lead the Hornet boys team to a 134.25-17 win over the Golden Hawks. The Hornets won all 15 individual events in the boys meet and took first place in two of three relays.

In the girls meet, the Hornets showed their depth as 13 different athletes won 13 individual events, with Beca taking just two. Emmaus won all three relays in the girls meet to earn a 131-19 team win.

Both Hornet teams entered this week at 4-0 in the East Penn Conference with league meets against Easton, Liberty, Freedom and Parkland remaining on the schedule. The Hornets will also compete in the Ray Geesey Invitational at Dallastown High School next weekend.
