Hilda Stumpf, 99, of Coplay, died April 11, 2024, at Fellowship Manor, Whitehall. She was the wife of the late Louis I. Stumpf.

Born in Stiles, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Cecilia (Yost) Fandl.

She was a graduate of Whitehall High School.

She worked, for many years, as a mill worker in the garment industry.

She was a longtime member of St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, Coplay.

She is survived by a daughter, Jeanette Galitsky and husband Leon; a son, Ronald and wife Adrienne; four grandchildren, Leon Galitsky Jr., Christina Galitsky, Daniel and Tess Marie; nieces; and nephews.

She was predeceased by two brothers; and four sisters.

Services will be private.
