Helen E. Schaeffer, 93, of Emmaus, died March 23, 2024, in Complete Care at Lehigh. She was the wife of the late Robert W. Schaeffer. Born in Emmaus, she was the daughter of the late Milton and Jennie (Wagner) Miller.

She was a member of Jerusalem Western Salisbury Church and enjoyed gardening and volunteering at her church.

She was into genealogy, the old school way. No Internet, she used old church and historical society records.

She always kept up with friends with phone calls and in-person visits. She was a loving homemaker.

She is survived by a daughter, Nancy Thompson, of Boise, Idaho; grandchildren, Hope, Audrey and Owen.

Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. April 6 in the Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., 250 Main St., Emmaus.
