Benjamin B. Powell, 73, of Macungie, died March 28, 2024, surrounded by his family in Meritus Medical Center, Hagerstown, Md. He was the husband of the late Carolyn J. (Kelley) Powell. Born in Winchester, Va., he was the son of the late Bruce A. and Kathleen L. (Shiley) Powell.

He honorably served his country in the Navy during Vietnam.

He worked in the IT group for Victaulic of America, Forks Township, for an extended period of time before retiring.

He was a member of Cedar Crest Bible Fellowship Church and its small groups.

He is survived by a son, Sean L. and his wife, Terri, of Allentown; daughter, Carrie A. and her husband, Sean Pearson, of Valencia; grandchildren, Faith and Hope Pearson, Krystine; sister, Sandra Kay. He was predeceased by a brother, Ronnie L.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. April 5 in Cedar Crest Bible Fellowship Church, 1151 S. Cedar Crest Blvd., Allentown. A viewing will be held 10-11 a.m. in the church. Arrangements were made by Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., Emmaus.
