Thelma N. Heist, 98, of Perkasie, formerly of Emmaus, died March 22, 2024. Born in Upper Milford Township, she was the daughter of the late Edward W. and Elmira (Nuss) Heist.

She worked for 20 years at Merchants Bank, later known as Wells Fargo. She worked for nine years as a part-time secretary at Victory Valley Camp.

She was a member of Zionsville Bible Fellowship Church, where she taught Sunday school and served as a youth leader. She attended Bethany Bible Fellowship Church in Hatfield for the past three years after moving to Perkasie.

She graduated from Emmaus High School.

She proudly voted in every election since she was eligible to vote in 1947.

She is survived by a sister, June Hersh; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brothers, Floyd, Duane and Bright Heist.

A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. April 4 at Zionsville Bible Fellowship Church. A calling hour will be held 10 to 11 a.m. April 4 at the church. Arrangements were made by the Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, Emmaus.
