Freshman Gavin Labbadia (Freedom) from the Moravian University men’s tennis squad has been honored as the Moravian Student-Athlete of the Week Fueled by Honey Stinger for his performance last week.

Labbadia had an undefeated week while helping the Greyhounds to a 4-0 week in nonconference action. Labbadia was 4-0 in singles action and 2-0 in doubles action with sophomore Shayaan Farhad during the week. The duo had 8-3 victories versus the University of St. Joseph (Conn.) and Muhlenberg College. In singles action, Labbadia won 6-1, 6-1 versus USJ and 6-1, 6-2 at Muhlenberg while playing fourth singles. He had a 6-0, 6-0 win versus Penn State Abington at second singles, and Labbadia finished the week with a 6-0, 6-0 victory at third singles at Penn State Brandywine.
