Youngsters, Therapy Dogs devour books during Parkland Library program

Children and parents gathered March 5 in the Parkland Community Library meeting room to take part in some quality time reading with Therapy Dogs.

Riley, a 9-year-old black Lab, owned by Anna Marie Markowitz; Lilly, a 10-year-old Pekingese owned by Kim Smoyer; Maddy, a 3-1/2-year-old Cockapoo owned by Verdi Quinn; and Annabelle, an 8-year-old mixed breed owned by Karen Wonderly; shared tales with the youngsters.
