Richard J. Strauss, 73, of Breinigsville, died March 6, 2024, in his home.

He and his wife, Denise M. (Swoyer), celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary.

Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Donald J. and Dorothy Strauss and was of the Lutheran faith.

An Army veteran, before retiring in 2014, he was a technical partner at the former Allentown Hospital and Lehigh Valley Hospital for 40 years.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, David J. and wife, Sarah; grandchildren Elizabeth A. and Jason J.; sister-in-law Beverly Berkebile and husband, Randy.
