DUI

A 45-year-old male, of Allentown, was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence after state police were called for a motorist passed out in his vehicle at Wawa Food Markets convenience store and gas station, 4900 Hamilton Blvd., Lower Macungie Township, 11:29 p.m. Dec. 16, 2023, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

A 40-year-old female, of Macungie, was taken into custody after troopers were called to the 1000 block of Liberty Lane, Lower Macungie Township, for an unconscious woman slumped over the steering wheel of her vehicle 3:25 p.m. Jan. 30, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

Burglary

Someone removed a window screen and entered a residence in the 5500 block of Vera Cruz Road, Upper Milford Township, at approximately 1 p.m. Feb. 9, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. A window latch also was damaged. The window screen is valued at $50.

DUI crash

A 19-year-old motorist, of Macungie, who allegedly was driving under the influence, was hurt when his pickup truck crashed through a guide rail and struck a drain in the 6200 block of Lower Macungie Road, Lower Macungie Township, 11:44 p.m. Jan. 20, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The truck was traveling east on Lower Macungie Road near the intersection with Mill Creek Road when the motorist veered into oncoming traffic, continued off the road and hit the guide rail. The motorist was transported for treatment by Macungie Ambulance Corps.

possession on school property

A female student was suspended from school for a day after she allegedly had a small kitchen knife in her desk at Shoemaker Elementary School, 4068 N. Fairview St., Lower Macungie Township, 11:25 a.m. Feb. 5, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
