Richard C. Lutz, 84, of Zionsville, died Feb. 4, 2024, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Muhlenberg campus. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Franklin C. and Lavinia (Simmers) Lutz.

He retired in 2005 from Mack Trucks, as a final inspection mechanic after 40 years of employment.

He was an Army veteran and was a member of the Upper Milford Western District Fire Company.

He was a graduate of Emmaus High School, Class of 1957.

He is survived by daughters, Tammy S. and her husband, Dana S. Walbert, of Zionsville, Karen L. and her husband, David E. Marchek, of Kutztown; brother, Jim and his wife, Pam, of Burlington, N.J.; grandchildren, Alec and Evan Marchek. He was predeceased by a sister, Claire Buss.

Services are private at the convenience of the family. Arrangements were made by the Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, Emmaus.
