Catasauqua: St. Mary’s schedules Feb. 25 cash bingo

St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 122 Union St., is holding a winter cash bingo Feb. 25.

The kitchen and doors open 11:30 a.m., and bingo begins 1 p.m.

The event includes 15 games, six specials and a jackpot round for a cost. Additional game sheets and specials will be available for purchase. Bring your daubers but no hard boards.

The kitchen will be selling snacks, your bingo favorites and soda/water/iced tea. Other than BYOB, no outside food or beverages are permitted.

Whitehall Active Community Center, 2301 Pine St., will be holding bingo 1 p.m. Feb. 25. Doors open noon.

Bingo will continue with tricky tray, 50/25/25 raffle, piggy number, lightning game and more. There will be refreshments available for purchase.

Bring a nonperishable food item for Whitehall Food Pantry.

Catty Seniors Plus will be meeting Feb. 28 at Slovak Center Social Club, 1233 Fifth St., North Catasauqua.

The doors open noon, and the meeting will begin 1 p.m.

There will be a speaker, followed by coffee and cake.

If there is a two-hour school delay, the club will meet; however, if school is canceled, there will be no meeting.

St. Mary’s Church will be holding its Lenten dinner 4:40-6:30 p.m. March 8 in the parish center. The event is for dine in or takeout.

The platter includes baked cod in a lightly seasoned butter sauce, seasoned roasted potatoes or cabbage and noodles, green beans or side salad, roll and butter and a beverage of bottled water, soda or iced tea. Desserts are sold separately.

There is a slight discount in price for advance purchases.
