All-City middle school concert

Comprised of 127 young musicians from the district’s four middle schools, Bethlehem Area School District’s All-City Band held its annual performance Feb. 7 at Northeast MS. The top students rehearsed the 13-number program during two morning rehearsals Feb. 6 and 7. “It was their first time seeing the music,” said Christy Davies, instrumental music director at East Hills MS. Broughal MS band director Adam Stoltz, Nitschmann MS band director Daniel Zettlemoyer and Northeast band director Brian Rupnik each directed the All-City Band during the concert, which was also live streamed. Davies also mentioned an upcoming elementary band and orchestra fest for 5th and 6th grade musicians April 5. Over 200 musicians from district 10 will include forty schools and directors at practice for an evening concert according to Davies.
