Patricia F. Huber co-founded WBPH-TV 60

Patricia F. Huber, 91, of Bethlehem, died Dec. 16, 2023. Born in Northampton, she was a daughter of the late Allen T. Roberts and Florence M. (Semmel) Roberts. She was the wife of the late Joseph L. Huber Sr.

She co-founded, along with her late husband, television station WBPH -TV 60. She was for more than 25 years the acting president of the station. Her most treasured program was “Bethlehem Glory,” a daily Bible teaching show that continues to air.

Her various ministries included a Christian coffeehouse, teaching Bible studies to children and adults, a women’s prison outreach and founding an inner-city drop-in center and food bank.

She is survived by four sons, Gregory (Rita) of Walnutport, William (Doreen) of Whitehall, David (Sandra) of Whitehall and Daniel (Margaret) of Bethlehem; two daughters, Jane Holmes (William) of Manheim and MaryJo Gundrum (Andrew) of Bethlehem; a daughter-in-law, Michelle Bunce of Catasauqua; 22 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and two brothers.

She was predeceased by a son, Joseph Jr; one brother; and six sisters.
