Rianna’s Race

PRESS PHOTOS BY DONNA GEWERTZ Members of Northampton Area High School DECA are proud to present the shirts given to participants in the Rianna's Race-Frosty 5-K, held Nov. 19 along the Ironton Rail Trail in honor of Rianna Glass, an NAHS 11th-grader who was killed earlier this year, along with her mother, in North Catasauqua.
Supporters gather after the benefit race to raise awareness of domestic abuse.
Runners take to the trail at the start of the race. The trail spanned from the Coplay Parkway to the Hokendauqua-North Catasauqua Bridge. The event raised approximately $3,000 for Turning Point of the Lehigh Valley.
Roxy and Elvis join their humans for the walk.
Liam Galicki, of Danielsville, and Marciane Foote, of Harleysville, display their trophies and medals as the first overall finishers for males and females, respectively.
The family of Rianna Glass attends the event to honor her memory.
