LEHIGH VALLEY WEATHER

Night of family fun

PRESS PHOTOS BY DONNA GEWERTZ Zephyr Elementary School students react as William Petterson, of Mad Science of Lehigh Valley, creates “clouds” from a carbon dioxide reaction during the school's fall family fun night Nov. 15.
Zephyr Elementary fourth- and fifth-grade math specialists Tanya Dunbar and Christine Laudato staff the registration table as students Riley and Autumn Johnson and their mother, Nija Greene, arrive for the evening's informational presentations on reading and math.
Zephyr students Caroline, Claire and Ziyad assist Petterson with an experiment on the movement of air currents, using a roll of toilet paper and a leaf blower.
Fourth-grade student Luke and his father, Erik Schrampf, enjoy pizza, snacks and drinks at the event.
