Early dismissals at SES and SMS planned

The Salisbury High School fall theater comedy “Hay Fever” will be performed 7 p.m. Nov. 9 and 10 and 2 p.m. Nov. 11. Tickets can be purchased at the door or online via the QR code on the district social media posts.

The next curriculum and technology committee meeting will be held 7 p.m. Nov. 8 immediately followed by the school board meeting. Both meetings will be held at the administration building.

The Salisbury Elementary School PTO will hold its general meeting 6 p.m. Nov. 14.

Township leaf collection continues from now until December. Please have leaves placed at the curb, with no sticks or branches, to make it easier for them to be vacuumed. Locations for collections will be updated on the township website weekly.

Looking forward, SES will have early dismissals for parent teacher conferences Nov. 16-21. They will dismiss 1:15 p.m. daily.

Salisbury Middle School will have early dismissals for parent teacher conferences Nov. 17-21 and will dismiss 12:15 p.m. daily.

All township schools will be closed Nov. 22-27 in observation of the Thanksgiving holiday. School will reopen Nov. 28.

The Devonshire drop-off site will be open Nov. 9 and 11 and the Franko site will be open Nov. 13, 16 and 18. Hours will remain 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday and Thursday and 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays. Please note there are only a few more weeks the recycling drop off centers will be open this year.

Jerusalem Evangelical Lutheran Church of Eastern Salisbury, 1707 Church Road, Allentown, will host its basket social 7 p.m. Nov. 10.
