Catasauqua police responded to these and other calls recently.

OCT. 14

Noise complaints were addressed twice at the same address in the 400 block of Front Street and at Howertown Road and School Street.

At Second and Wood streets, a citation was filed during a vehicle stop.

The theft of a bicycle in the 500 block of Walnut Street was reported.

Officers investigated a parking complaint in the 100 block of Mulberry Street. A vehicle was ticketed.

A burglar alarm sounded in the 500 block of Howertown Road.

Police conducted a welfare check in the 900 block of Race Street.

OCT. 15

In the unit block of Cambridge Place, officers investigated a suspicious vehicle report and a hit and run.

An unwanted person in the 200 block of Faith Drive was reported. The issue was resolved, the department said.

OCT. 16

Police assisted Allentown officers in the 500 block of Kurtz Street.

Traffic violations occurred at American and East Wood streets, with a verbal warning issued; at Second and Bridge streets; at Lehigh and South Front streets; at North Dauphin and North Irving streets, Hanover Township, with warnings issued; and at Fifth and Pine streets.

In-school consequences were made at Catasauqua High School, 2500 W. Bullshead Road, Northampton, for a fight.

A code enforcement issue in the 100 block of Bridge Street was handled.

A report of suspicious activity and people at Front and Walnut streets was investigated.

Noise complaints were addressed in the 900 block of Bethlehem Road and the 800 block of Faith Drive.

OCT. 17

Traffic violations took place at Bridge and Front streets, with the driver cited; at North Dauphin and North Irving streets, Hanover Township, with the driver warned; and in the 200 block of Lehigh Street, with one case involving speeding.

Officers conducted a juvenile welfare check in the 400 block of Front Street.

Police assisted Allentown officers in the 200 block of Poplar Street.

In the 500 block of St. John Street, a fight involving juveniles was filed with the department.

OCT. 18

An unattended death in the 400 block of Race Street was investigated.

Traffic violations occurred at Second and Race streets, with a written warning issued; on Front Street, with the driver cited and vehicle towed; and at North Dauphin and North Irving streets, Hanover Township, with a warning issued.

A temporary protection-from-abuse order was granted in the 700 block of Crane Street.

In the 100 block of Wood Street, a neighbor dispute took place.

Parking complaints were addressed in the 100 block of Front Street, with the vehicle ticketed; in the 200 block of Front Street, with the vehicle ticketed and towed; and the 700 block of Front Street, with vehicles ticketed and towed.

A domestic disturbance had police at the scene in the unit block of Front Street.

Officers assisted a citizen, involving a harassment complaint, in the 400 block of Race Street.

OCT. 19

Traffic violations occurred on Union Street, with a verbal warning issued; and at Catasauqua Area School District, 201 N. 14th St., with the driver cited.

A 15-year-old male juvenile was cited for use of tobacco products in school at Catasauqua High School, 2500 W. Bullshead Road, Northampton.

Officers assisted Pennsylvania State Police in the 200 block of Wood Street for an wanted person.

OCT. 20

A noise complaint was addressed in the 300 block of Mulberry Street.

Traffic violations occurred at North 14th and Pearl streets, with a citation issued; in the 500 block of Front Street, with the driver cited and vehicle towed; in the 400 block of Howertown Road, with the driver cited; at Lehigh and Main streets; and at Fifth and Pine streets.

A hit and run took place in the 100 block of Walnut Street.

An animal complaint in the 200 block of Edward Lane was referred to an animal control officer.

Marijuana was found in the 500 block of St. John Street. It was destroyed, the department said.

Police said Frank Rzonca, 33, was involved with criminal trespassing at the municipal complex, 90 Bridge St.

OCT. 21

A dog at large in the 100 block of Canal Street was reported.

Traffic violations occurred in the 400 block of Lehigh Street and at North Dauphin and North Irving streets, Hanover Township.

Police responded to a citizen complaint in the 100 block of Front Street.

In the 300 block of Mulberry Street, officers responded to a report of a disturbance involving disorderly patrons.

OCT. 22

A protection-from-abuse service at Whittier Place Apartments, 895 Walnut St., was conducted.

In the 1900 block of North Dauphin Street, Hanover Township, a traffic stop was conducted.
