Catasauqua police responded to these and other calls recently.

SEPT. 11

Traffic violations occurred at Second and Peach streets, with a written warning given, and at Pine and Third streets, with the driver’s license suspended.

A 16-year-old male was cited for use of tobacco at Catasauqua High School, 2500 W. Bullshead Road.

A disturbance was investigated in the 400 block of Front Street. The case involved issuing a temporary protection-from-abuse order.

In the 900 block of Race Street, a civil matter had police at the scene.

SEPT. 12

Parking complaints were addressed in the 200 block of Race Street, with the vehicle ticketed, and on Bridge Street, with vehicles ticketed.

Harassment complaints between neighbors at Catasauqua Towers, 534 Third St., were handled.

Officers responded to a civil matter in the 100 block of Railroad Street.

A traffic violation took place in the 100 block of Second Street.

Police investigated disturbances, with no arrests, at the same residence in the 300 block of Church Street.

A 15-year-old male was charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia and use of tobacco (two counts) at Innovative Arts Academy Charter School, 330 Howertown Road.

A report of a suicidal threat in the 100 block of Front Street had police at the scene.

Police responded to a neighbor dispute in the 100 block of South 13th Street.

In the 300 block of Wood Street, officers investigated a mental health case.

SEPT. 13

A juvenile complaint at Catasauqua High School, 2500 W. Bullshead Road, Northampton, was addressed.

Police assisted code enforcement in the 100 block of Bridge Street.

Harassment by communication in the 900 block of Bridge Street was reported.

At Lehigh and York streets, a reportable motor vehicle accident took place.

Traffic violations occurred at Bridge and Railroad streets and Bridge and Second streets, with the latter involving a 32-year-old male, of Catasauqua, for a DUI arrest. Charges are pending, police said.

A dispute between a landlord and tenant in the 100 block of Bridge Street had police at the scene.

In the 100 block of Bridge Street, officers responded to a disturbance.

SEPT. 14

Disturbances in the 100 block of Pine Street and the 100 block of Front Street were filed with the department.

Traffic violations took place at Second and Union streets, with a verbal warning issued, and at Howertown Road and Pine Street, with a written warning issued.

Police assisted North Catasauqua officers in the 1100 block of Railroad Street, North Catasauqua.

Officers conducted welfare checks at Second and Race streets and at Catasauqua American Legion Post 215, 330 Second St.

A catalytic converter was taken from a vehicle at Poplar and South 14th streets.

SEPT. 15

Officers assisted North Catasauqua police at Second and Arch streets, North Catasauqua.

A civil matter took place in the 600 block of Poplar Street.

In the unit block of Front Street, the 200 block of Wood Street and the unit block of Faith Drive, animal complaints were addressed.

A disturbance occurred in the 700 block of Second Street.

Traffic violations took place at Second and Peach streets and Second and Wood streets.

Police checked on a person in the 300 block of Front Street.

Officers assisted North Catasauqua police in the 1100 block of Railroad Street, North Catasauqua, for suspicious activity.

At North Catasauqua William J. Albert Memorial Park, 701 Grove St., officers provided assistance with checking on a person.

SEPT. 16

An animal complaint in the 500 block of Race Street was handled.

John Zink, 77, of Bethlehem, was cited for disorderly conduct-hazardous condition in the 400 block of Front Street.

Police assisted a citizen in the 800 block of Front Street.

Road rage at Lehigh and Race streets was reported.

SEPT. 17

An animal complaint in the 800 block of Race Street was addressed.

SEPT. 18

Police assisted a citizen in the 100 block of Bridge Street.

A traffic violation occurred at Front and Liberty streets.

Two vehicles were involved in a reportable motor vehicle accident in the 900 block of Race Street.
