Aggravated assault

A 44-year-old female, of Allentown, was charged Aug. 11 with alleged aggravated assault and harassment following an incident at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest campus, according to Salisbury police.

DUI

A 28-year-old male, of Upper Macungie Township, was charged July 30 with allegedly driving under the influence and possession of controlled substances following a traffic stop in the 1600 block of Broadway, according to Salisbury police.

A 36-year-old female, of Allentown, was charged Aug. 12 with allegedly driving under the influence and driving on roadways laned for traffic following a traffic stop in the 1800 block of Broadway, according to Salisbury police.

Burglary

Someone entered a vacant residence in the 1500 block of Herbert Street, according to Salisbury police. The incident was reported Aug. 11 and the homeowner is determining if anything was taken from the residence.

Theft

A 48-year-old female, of Quakertown, was charged Aug. 2 with alleged theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property following an incident at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest campus, according to Salisbury police.

A resident of the 1600 block of East Susquehanna Street learned a check was intercepted, altered and made payable to another person, according to Salisbury police. The incident was reported Aug. 1.

A set of keys was taken from a table outside of Emmaus Avenue Market, 1017 E. Emmaus Ave., Aug. 7, according to Salisbury police.

Someone removed approximately 15 nylon “slings” from Harris Rebar, 1700 Riverside Drive, according to Salisbury police. The items are valued at $12 each. The incident was reported Aug. 9.

Retail theft

Unknown juveniles were suspected of removing items from retailers C & I Minerals and Mice in the Attic 2, South Mall, 3300 Lehigh St., after they ran from the stores and merchandise was discarded behind them, according to Salisbury police. The incident was reported Aug. 11.

Identity theft

A resident of the 700 block of East Tioga Street learned his personal information was used to open a Verizon account, according to Salisbury police. The incident was reported Aug. 4.

A resident of the 100 block of Waldheim Park learned her personal information was used to open a “Shop Your Way” credit account after she received a statement for the account detailing purchases totaling $3,180, according to Salisbury police. The incident was reported Aug. 7.

Criminal mischief

Someone slashed two tires and cracked the windshield of a vehicle while it was parked in the 1400 block of East Susquehanna Street, according to Salisbury police. The incident was reported July 30 and damage is estimated to be $700, according to authorities.

Theft from vehicle

Someone removed approximately $10 in loose change from a vehicle while it was parked in the 1300 block of Tweed Avenue, according to Salisbury police. The incident was reported Aug. 7.

Someone entered three vehicles and removed approximately $50 while the vehicles were parked in the 1500 block of Maumee Avenue, according to Salisbury police. The incident was reported Aug. 7.

Someone removed multiple items, including a camera and about $100 in cash, from a vehicle while it was parked in the 1500 block of Paxford Road, according to Salisbury police. The incident was reported Aug. 7.

Someone removed two credit cards and a stun gun, valued at $400, from a vehicle while it was parked in the 1200 block of Potomac Street, according to Salisbury police. The incident was reported Aug. 7.

Someone removed miscellaneous items, including a wallet, $100 cash and assorted paperwork from three vehicles parked in the 1300 block of Maumee Avenue, according to Salisbury police. The incident was reported Aug. 7.

Several vehicles were entered and miscellaneous items taken while the vehicles were parked along Country Club Road, according to Salisbury police. The incidents were reported Aug. 9.

Scattering rubbish

A 32-year-old male, of Allentown, was charged Aug. 11 with allegedly scattering rubbish following an incident on Constitution Drive, according to Salisbury police.
