Developer Atul Patel, developer of the proposed Hamilton Hotel, 3051, 3125, 3127 and 3141 Hamilton Blvd., requested a three-month extension on conditional-final approval at the Aug. 16 South Whitehall commissioners meeting.

The Hamilton Hotel plan, ongoing for eight years, proposes consolidation of the four lots, the alterations to the existing building at 3141 Hamilton Blvd., construction of 192 parking spaces and three commercial buildings on the 5.36-acre tract.

Commissioners, at their May 5 and Sept. 1, 2021, and March 16 and Sept. 7, 2022, and March 1, 2023, meetings granted extensions to allow the applicant time to complete the remaining issues necessary for plan recording.

There are 17 conditions remaining to be completed by Patel.

Two conditions are required after the plan is recorded, and one is the requirement to record the plan within 12 months of approval.

Minor plan adjustments, payment of fees and minor legal issues also remain.

Commissioner Monica Hodges addressed Patel.

”Please bear with me as I’ve asked this before,” she began. “I know you have assured me that you will physically assess and make sure the King George is in good condition.”

“OK. No leaks,” Patel responded.

The extension was unanimously approved by commissioners.
