Morril, a stand-up comedian, actor, writer and producer, grew up in New York City. He attended the Browning School in Manhattan and Tulane University. In 2015, Morril recorded his debut album,?“Class Act.” His first one-hour special,?“Amy Schumer Presents?Sam?Morril: Positive Influence,”?premiered on Comedy Central in 2018. He released his third?stand-up special for Comedy Central,?“I Got This,” in 2020 and “Up On The Roof,”?in 2021. His fourth stand-up special, “Sam Morril: Same Time Tomorrow,” is streaming. He has performed stand-up sets on?“The Late Show with Stephen Colbert,”?“The Late, Late Show with James Corden”?and?“Conan.” He’s had stints on?“Last Comic Standing,”?“America’s Got Talent” and?“Inside Amy Schumer.” Morril?was host of his own show on MSG, “People Talking Sports,” which ran for two seasons and received an Emmy nomination. Buckcherry, 8 p.m. Sept. 17, Penn’s Peak, Jim Thorpe. Buckcherry is a rock band founded in 1995 in Anaheim, Calif. The band released two albums, “Buckcherry” (1999) and “Time Bomb” (2001), before dissolving in 2002. Lead vocalist Josh Todd and lead guitarist Keith Nelson reformed Buckcherry in 2005 with a new lineup and released “15” in 2006, which included “Sorry,” the group’s first Billboard Hot 100 Top 10 hit. The band’s albums include: “Black Butterfly” (2008), “All Night Long” (2010), “Confessions” (2013), “Rock ‘n’ Roll” (2015), “Warpaint” (2019), “Hellbound” (2021) and “Vol. 10” (2023).
