‘Puss in Boots, the Last Wish’ on the big screen, Aug. 11

The PG movie, “Puss in Boots, the Last Wish,” will be shown Aug. 11 at Grange Park, 360 Grange Road, Upper Macungie.

Activities begin 7 p.m. Movie starts at dusk.

Only grass seating will be available.

Brian Bleam, in partnership with the township, is offering Summer Tennis Session 2 for participants ages 7 to adults, 4:30-7:30 p.m. Aug. 7-28 at Blue Barn Park, 5770 Snowy Orchid Lane.

Participants need to bring their own racquets and a water bottle.

Wildlands Conservancy Wild Things Camp for kids in kindergarten through fifth grade will take place 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Aug. 7-11 at Lone Lane Park, 30 Lone Lane.

Drop off 7:30-8:45 a.m. Pick up 4:15-5:30 p.m.

Children will need to bring a nonperishable lunch. Snacks will not be provided.

There is a fee for this camp.

Mad Science of the Lehigh Valley will offer kids ages 6-12 a camp experience sure to entertain and delight at its NASA Camp 9 a.m. to noon Aug. 14-18 at the Lone Lane Park Pavilion, 30 Lone Lane.

Campers will journey into outer space, setting them on a trajectory from the Earth’s atmosphere to the outer reaches of the solar system.

This hands-on specialty camp will bring them closer to the stars, planets, comets, and more.

They will learn about living in space, getting away from gravity, looking for space phenomena, and they will participate in a rocket launch.

There is a per camper fee. This camp has a minimum enrollment of 10 children.

Yoga in the Park classes will be offered 4:30-5:30 p.m. every Monday; 5-6 p.m. every Wednesday and 9-10 a.m. every Friday, until Sept. 27 at Ricky Park, 5875 Ricky Ridge Trail, Orefield.

Participants will need to bring a yoga mat and water bottle.

The township has partnered with Heyday Athletic to host a Women’s and Men’s Basketball league at Grange Park Basketball Courts, 360 Grange Road.

Women’s summer session will be held Mondays until Aug. 28.

The men’s summer session will take place on Wednesdays until Aug. 30.

All games are played between 6-8 p.m.
