A 22-year-old male pedestrian has died after being struck by two vehicles around 9:10 p.m. June 10 in the area of Rising Sun Road and Mauser Street, North Whitehall Township.

According to Lehigh County Coroner Daniel P. Buglio, Christian Torres of North Whitehall Township was pronounced dead at 9:55 p.m. the same day in the Emergency Department at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.

The cause and manner of his death is pending the results of an autopsy, which was to be performed on June 14 at the Lehigh County Coroner’s Office and Forensic Center, Buglio said.

In addition to the coroner’s office, his death is being investigated by State Police Troop M, Bethlehem, Troop M Forensic Service Unit, Troop M Collision Analysis Reconstruction Unit and the Lehigh County District Attorney’s Office.
