In a dazzling display of talent and creativity, Lincoln Elementary School’s musical “Disney’s Frozen Jr.,” helmed by director Alma Ritter and musical director Tina Sopko, captivated audiences with wonderfully executed performances May 18 and 19.

Genevieve Peterson, in the role of Elsa, delivered a spellbinding portrayal. Her voice resonated with power and emotion, effortlessly carrying the weight of the Snow Queen’s journey.

Joined by Zara Rabi and Paige Nawarynski, who portrayed Elsa at different stages of her life, this trio of young extraordinary talent impressed with their seamless transitions and remarkable ability to convey the character’s depth.

The production’s technical elements were nothing short of awe-inspiring. The adorably professional theatrical scenery and lighting transported viewers into the magical world of Arendelle.

From the shimmering ice castle to the enchanting snowfall, every detail was meticulously designed and executed, showcasing the dedication and skill of the production team.

Payton Flowers shone as Anna, exuding warmth, humor and a magnetic stage presence. Her chemistry with Peterson created a dynamic sisterly bond that tugged at the heartstrings of the audience.
