Sanctuary at Haafsville

The Sanctuary at Haafsville, 901 Nestle Way, Breinigsville, has the following dogs available for adoption. If you are interested in Smokey or Macho and Long John, email a completed application to

Smokey is a handsome male pittie who came to the Sanctuary at Haafsville as a local stray and no one came to claim him. Since the Sanctuary does not know his past, Smokey may need some time to warm up to new men but once he does, he will be your best buddy. Smokey knows sit and down commands. He still needs to be cat tested and, if there are other dogs in the home, a meet and greet will need to be arranged.
Macho and Long John are a bonded pair recently surrendered to us due to their owner moving. Macho is a gorgeous St. Bernard approximately 5-1/2 years old and about 130 pounds. His sidekick, Long John, is a dashingly handsome dachshund approximately 8 years old. They enjoy doing everything together, including sleeping, and taking walks. They do cry when separated, so the Sanctuary cannot break up these two. It's not an easy request, but they are really hoping someone out there will open their hearts and home to them. A home with no cats is preferred and Macho seems to do better with small dogs, not larger dogs. So a meet and greet would need to be arranged.
